Never disappoints

Excellent food, clean establishment, reasonably priced. They serve a brunch/lunch type menu. Big portions and free refills on soda and coffee.

Great fresh food. Super friendly staff, so glad they are close to my side of town. Not just your standard boring menu....mmmmmm GOOD stuff!

Ate lunch with my daughter this afternoon; plantain multigrain pancakes were great. The carnivore skillet was excellent.

Both the lunch and breakfast options that the table ordered were fantastic. You definitely can't beat the price for good food like that. Add on the Wonderfully warm and kind staff, you have a spot you'll return to regularly. I know I will.

Ordered because they let me bring food over from here to Ray's tasting room. Ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich meal. Throughly enjoyed it. Could go for a bit less cheese but I'm probably one of very few people who would want it that way. Fries are a mix of many different types. Which was a nice touch.

I’m not sure what the HubBub is about, but Host was rude there was an open table offered by Waitress, everyone in restaurant is seated at counter or table being served. But Rude Host denied us the table told me I will be waiting for another 20 minutes and maybe get a counter seat as empty booth was for another customer. Seeing everyone was seated and eating in the restaurant I’m not sure who this delusional Host was going too seat. We were the only couple waiting. So we went to Elm Grove to enjoy a relaxing Breakfast of 5star standards, as I have eaten at Midtown in the past and noticed a decline in Quality and Service and that Ethnic presence is of importance to this establishment this incident clinched my decision not to return. I also didn’t care for the Ethnic attitude.Thanks Midtown for getting Myself and my Spouse too a Quality Restaurant and where my Ethnic presence is Welcomed Dr. R Nero Surgery MCW

Food was not good at all, the chicken and waffles were hard as a rock both chicken and waffle, buffalo blt chicken wrap was soggy and nasty and the fruit looked old like it’s been sitting for days

Went on a busy Sunday morning. Place is very small, but comfortable. Sat at the counter and had corned beef hash and pancakes. Pretty good pancakes. The hash needs work, it was just potatoes and corned beef. Both parts were fine, it just wasn't really a hash.

Service was sub par. Waitresses spent more time jaw jacking by the warming table. Never asking to refill coffee or to check how the food was. Had to wave down to get check and boxes. Food was good.

Best over easy eggs I have ever had. Have been there about 5-6 times and my large eggs continue to be excellent.

The food was fantastic! I got the Reuben rolls and carnivore skillet. Highly recommend the rolls. The staff was also very friendly. The place however, is pretty small.

Love the small restaurant feel where you can see the cook cooking. Counter and both eating. Beware, bathrooms are in the basement-a lot of stairs. Fantastic coffee

North Ave Grill was a 45 minute wait, so the hostess recommended we check out their sister restaurant Midtown & I’m so glad we did! Food was fantastic, quick and the service was excellent! A cozy place, with the diner feel, exactly what we wanted on a Sunday. Highly recommend the pancake flight if you can’t decide!

Ordered corned beef hash and eggs The corned beef and potatoes were cold my porch egg was overcooked and the yolk was hard.Not very good flavor totally disappointed. Probably won't go back.

I had a great time here. We sat at the counter. I ordered breakfast tacos and their Pico de Gallo is unforgettable. I loved the ribbon potato hash browns. my husband ordered corned beef hash which was equally delicious. A+++++Thanks!Captain Save A Home

Went here today for the first time. Ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was very good. The atmosphere and staff were very nice. The major draw back was the fairly limited menu. We went for lunch and there weren't very many lunch options. The restaurant itself is pretty small but there is counter service. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Was a good place! I wish the hours were longer, and the wait was a little long. There was no hostess stand or much of an area to wait in so that made things a bit tight. But either way, food was tasty! Requesting adding lettuce tomato onion to the Royal burger was a good idea, helped cut the richness. I like how they give a whole assortment of fries too, they were cooked to right doneness and seasoned well too.

Had the best French Toast ever and all of the staff was friendly it's a lovely local spot and I will make sure to come back again

First time visiting this location. I had been to the sister restaurant, North Ave Grill a few times in the past and was glad that there wasn't a long wait at Midtown Grill (something that often kept me away from North Ave Grill). This is a cute little restaurant in the location where John's Sandwich Shop used to be (the new establishment is much more welcoming). I had the Farm omelette and it was fantastic. The omelette was packed with a nice selection of fresh veggies, accompanied by a generous serving of ribbon-cut hash brown potatoes and fresh fruit. The restaurant is only open until 2pm weekdays and 3pm weekends, and the menu is balanced between breakfast and lunch items. There are many things on the menu I hope to try in the future - great little restaurant!

Probably the best burger I've ever had in my life. Seriously. I had it this afternoon and I'm fantasizing about it five hours later. The only knock on the joint? They aren't open all day. Expand the hours to 9 or 10 at night, and I'm there all day, everyday.
